Today our students and staff showed their love for reading by participating in Character Dress-Up Day. The hallways were filled with excitement as favorite book characters came to life right here on campus! From classic storybook favorites to modern heroes, it was a fun and creative way to celebrate the joy of reading.

Cecil Picard Elementary recently celebrated Black History Month with a variety of meaningful and creative activities across our campus. We are incredibly proud of all of our students and teachers who participated and helped make this celebration so special.

We were honored to welcome members of the Maurice community to Cecil Picard Elementary School as part of our Black History Month celebration!
Our guests took time out of their day to read inspiring stories to our students, sharing powerful lessons about courage, perseverance, and the importance of honoring history. It was such a meaningful experience for our children to see community leaders and role models investing in their learning.
We are so grateful for the continued support of our Maurice community. Partnerships like these make a lasting impact and help us show our students the strength and unity around them.
