Our little scientists learned all about volcanoes and their different parts! They labeled, created, and built their very own volcanoes using Play-Doh while learning hands-on. Learning is always more fun when we get to create, explore, and get a little messy! 🧪❤️🌋

As part of their second grade science lesson, Mrs. Andrea’s students each built their own volcano. Then they conducted an experiment and they were able to watch their volcanoes erupt. 🌋

Mrs. Alyson’s 2nd graders had a spooktacular time reading a story and then coming together with their partners to discuss and determine the central message! 📚🕸️ We love seeing our little learners work together, share their thinking, and grow as readers! 🧡🖤

The Dog and Pet Show was held on October 19. 4-H officer Sadie Schexnailder won two gold ribbons with her dog Tandy! She won in Best Groomed and Most Obedient.
October 20 was the 4-H color run and the pumpkin painting workshop. Four CPE students attended the pumpkin workshop and two students participated in the color run!
Our first PBIS Tailgate was a huge success! 🏈❤️💙 Our students had a blast celebrating positive behavior, school spirit, and making great memories together. We loved seeing so many smiles and can’t wait for the next one! Go, Junior Pats! 🎉

🎃🪥 A little Halloween magic with a whole lot of phonics fun! Mrs. Emily’s class is brushing away letters while writing CVC words and practicing their letter sounds!👻📚🧡
🌬️☂️ Mrs. Kyla’s first graders put their STEM skills to the test by designing umbrellas that could stand strong against the wind without tumbling over! They applied what they learned about trees and how their strong roots help keep them standing tall, even in windy conditions. Way to think like scientists and engineers, Junior Pats! 🌳💡
