Cecil Picard had a special guest originally from Canada today, which is the country Mrs. Nicole's class is learning about! The Canadian maple syrup he brought surely made their tall tale flapjacks taste so yummy!!!

🔥 STEM Challenge Alert! 🔥 Our kindergarten students took on an exciting STEM challenge: “The Floor is Lava!” 🌋 Their mission? To save the bears and dinosaurs from the lava by designing and building strong, creative structures to keep them safe and off the ground. 🧸🦖💡 We love seeing their teamwork, problem-solving skills, and imagination in action!

Cave Painting in Progress!!! All four 4th grade SS classes traveled back in time to the Paleolithic Era! Students created cave drawings to help others uncover clues about early hunter gatherers. They worked by the glow of “firelight” using fake candles to illuminate their journey into the past!

Today is a historic day for CPE! 🇺🇸 Mrs. Jennifer’s ELA students are the very first classes to be invited to participate in the “Mail Call” project for the Honor Flight program! Classes wrote heartfelt letters to one lucky veteran who will soon be joining other veterans in the Honor Flight to Washington DC to visit the memorials that are built in their honor! We are so excited to be a part of this deeply emotional experience for our assigned veteran! Mr. Spaulding, we are grateful to be a part of your special journey!

Students in Mrs. Jennifer‘s ELA classes celebrated the 4th Day of 4th Grade by reading a special letter written just for them. Last May Mrs. Jennifer‘s fourth grade students (who are now in fifth grade) each wrote a letter to the “future fourth grader” sitting at their desk. Students loved receiving the tips and advice from a former fourth grader to help them have a successful fourth grade school year! ❤️💙

Today was an exceptionally fantastic day in Mrs. Jennifer’s ELA classes! They celebrated their AR success with an AR store. Students used their points to “purchase” toys, books and treats! It was a great day to be rewarded for all the reading that has taken place this school year. Several students were recognized for top points and most words read! Mrs. Jennifer’s home room also got to wear pjs for receiving another 20 compliments! WAY TO GO PATRIOTS!!!❤️💙
