⭐️Career Day!⭐️

Today Mrs. Samantha's class got to read the story Pumpkin Jack and make their very own pumpkin Jack. They recently started learning about plants. They looked at pumpkin seeds and discussed the life cycle of pumpkins. All students got to feel and smell the pumpkin, then they carved the pumpkin and talked about the shapes they needed to make the pumpkin face. Now they will get to watch and see the life cycle of a pumpkin throughout the school year!

💼✨ Career Day at Cecil Picard Elementary! ✨💼 Today, our students were inspired by some amazing community volunteers who shared their time, talents, and stories about a wide variety of career paths! Thanks to our volunteers our Junior Patriots got a glimpse into the many opportunities that await them in the future. 🌟

Our 5th graders had a blast dressing up for Career Day! From future doctors and teachers to engineers, chefs, and athletes — the halls were filled with big dreams and bright futures. 💫

Our cookie champs are in! 🏆 A big shoutout to Dylan Leimetter and Emma Goss for being our Top 2 Cookie Dough Sellers!🍪

🎃 STEM Challenge Fun! 🎃
Our students put their engineering skills to the test with this week’s Pumpkin Platform Challenge! Using only straws and popsicle sticks, each team designed and built a platform sturdy enough to hold as many pumpkins as possible.
From creative designs to careful testing (and a few pumpkin tumbles!), our young engineers showed amazing teamwork, problem-solving, and perseverance. 👏
We’re so proud of their innovative thinking and can’t wait to see what they build next! 💡🎃

Mrs Ramsey's little pumpkins had a great day today! 🎃 They went on a field trip to Wood Briar. These little pumpkins had a blast trick or treating.

Fifty days smarter! Mrs. Karlee’s class celebrated this milestone with a delicious ice cream float party!🍨

Mrs. Kyla's little engineers took some inspiration from trees today. 🌳 They used nature’s design secrets to create umbrellas that could stand up to the wind.☂️

Lights, camera, outdoors! Mrs. Mya’s class put on their first drama, “Possum’s Tail,” with a wonderful outdoor performance!🎬

Mrs. Tabatha's third graders had a blast exploring force in science today! 💪⚙️ They experimented with pushes and pulls to make objects move — discovering how motion works through hands-on learning. Way to go, young scientists! 🔬🧠
