Today, we celebrated this incredible achievement in the best way possible — with a school-wide Blue Ribbon Carnival! 🎪✨
Our students enjoyed fun games, exciting prizes, upbeat music, and tons of smiles and laughter. It was the perfect way to honor the hard work, dedication, and pride that make our school truly outstanding.

Mrs. Darbi’s third grade class had 100 percent of her students complete all of the Zearn lessons for Module 2. ❤️
🚒🔥 Cecil Picard Elementary had some very special visitors for Fire Prevention Week! Our local volunteer firefighters stopped by to teach students all about fire safety — from what to do in an emergency to how to prevent fires at home. The kids loved exploring the fire truck and learning from these real-life heroes.

🏃♂️💙 Cecil Picard Elementary had a blast participating in this year’s Apex Fun Run! 🎉 It was an exciting day filled with energy, teamwork, and school spirit — all while raising funds for our school. 💪✨ A big thank you to our Apex team for bringing so much fun and motivation to our students and to all the families who supported this fundraiser. What a great way to combine fitness, friendship, and fundraising! 🏅👏
These awesome students raised $100 or more last night, so they were able to throw water balloons at Mrs. Jessica today!💦💦

CPE held their Monthly 4-H meeting today and students learned about Wetland food webs. 4-H members participated in an activity showing the connectivity between all members of the food web such as producers and herbivores.🍀
Two more students in Mrs. Jennifer’s ELA classes reached the 20 point club! Way to go Wyatt and Mali’jha! 🎉🛎️🤩

Thanks to our volunteers our Junior Patriots got a glimpse into the many opportunities that await them in the future. 🌟

Today Mrs. Samantha's class got to read the story Pumpkin Jack and make their very own pumpkin Jack. They recently started learning about plants. They looked at pumpkin seeds and discussed the life cycle of pumpkins. All students got to feel and smell the pumpkin, then they carved the pumpkin and talked about the shapes they needed to make the pumpkin face. Now they will get to watch and see the life cycle of a pumpkin throughout the school year!

Our 5th graders had a blast dressing up for Career Day! From future doctors and teachers to engineers, chefs, and athletes — the halls were filled with big dreams and bright futures. 💫

🎃 STEM Challenge Fun! 🎃
Our students put their engineering skills to the test with this week’s Pumpkin Platform Challenge! Using only straws and popsicle sticks, each team designed and built a platform sturdy enough to hold as many pumpkins as possible.
From creative designs to careful testing (and a few pumpkin tumbles!), our young engineers showed amazing teamwork, problem-solving, and perseverance. 👏
We’re so proud of their innovative thinking and can’t wait to see what they build next! 💡🎃
Mrs Ramsey's little pumpkins had a great day today! 🎃 They went on a field trip to Wood Briar. These little pumpkins had a blast trick or treating.
