Mrs. Darbi’s class had a special guest today- Mrs. Albers! Mrs. Albers is a retired teacher and just happens to be the mother of Mrs. Jennifer, 4th grade teacher, and the grandmother of Sadie, a CPE 3rd grader. Mrs. Albers traveled from Texas and brought a book to share with the class. Each student also received a handmade, uniquely crafted, miniature fabric shaped heart pillow! Each pillow was lovingly made by a member of the Hope Gathering Widows group from Texas. The pillows were part of the message that each child is loved and to carry that message in their hearts at all times! ❤️❤️

Mrs. Jennifer’s ELA classes earned Flashlight Friday for all reading times today! Due to every single student meeting the AR point requirement for the week, all students got to read with the lights off and a flashlight! We love Flashlight Friday!!!🔦

Both Ms. Mya and Mrs. Jennifer transported their students to a cave- a temporary shelter of a nomad -to create cave art! All students had a “fire” source to light their way as they created the cave scenes.
