Mrs. Megan and Mrs. Lainey’s first graders learned all about fire safety, fire trucks, and firefighters this morning. Big thank you to the Maurice Fire Department for making fire safety SO MUCH FUN! 🔥🧯🚒
Problem solving in action! Mrs. Jill’s kindergarteners built gates for their 5 little pumpkins, and figured out how to stop a sphere from rolling. They also noticed all of the shapes they used to build their gates.
As a reminder so that necessary arrangements can be made, Vermilion Parish School System will be closed on Monday, November 7th and Tuesday, November 8th for Fall Break and Election Day.
In addition, the Thanksgiving Break is just around the corner. Schools and central office will be closed on November 21st through November 25th.
